Paul was born in Galiwin'ku (Elcho Island) and came to Warruwi a short time ago.

Paul's father taught him how to paint, and he has now taught these skills onto his own son. His wife, who was from Groote Eylandt, has since passed on but his daughter is still living in Galiwin'ku.

Paul paints his dreaming and animals that he likes to hunt. Salt water fish are his favourite things to hunt and eat. Paul is a talented artist and has worked at the Art Centre on Groote Eylandt many years ago and in the local shop on Elcho Island.
