Magdaline was born in Warruwi and has lived here her whole life. She is married with five children.

Magdaline is a very talented weaver and taught herself many years ago. She enjoys collecting pandanus and the colours, then weaving the pandanus into beautiful baskets or wall hangings. Magdaline is employed by the West Arnhem Shire Council and is a proud member of staff here at Mardbalk Arts, on the CDEP program.

Magdaline loves to go fishing in her spare time and her favourite food is fresh oysters, which are found on the beaches here.
